Ambuluwawa Mountain Hill
Ambuluwawa is such a nice place on the earth which is located in the Gampola, Sri Lanka. Ambuluwawa is a mountain & it considered as the highest tourist attraction place in Sri Lanka. There are so many local and foreign visitors come here to see the beauty of nature.
Though it is a hard journey to climb the mountain on foot, many people used to travel by foot because they love to feel the beauty & experiences with their own eyes too. It is not the barriers for vehicle entrance. If you can't travel by foot there is not need to worry about it. You can able to reach the mountain peak by your own vehicle. But I suggest you to go there by foot. Because if offers you many more wonderful scenes which you ever seen. Such a nice feeling. So that don't miss that chance.
Ambuluwawa is the bio diversity complex. There are so many species of trees and it gives a cool climate for everyone. Because of this reason it is good for the people who climb the mountain. They haven't feel any tired too. This mountain is extended in 927 acres. This mountain is apart from the other mountains and it stands alone. Besides there are so many inherent animals & some bird and reptile species can be found here.
Not only that but also it is better to introduce Ambuluwawa as a Multi religious centre. It is a first multi religious centre and the peak of this wonderful mountain has a buddhist temple, a hindu kovil, a mosque and a church too.
There is a Pagoda which is located 3567 feets above from sea level. Because of this amazing creation it becomes more famous one among the visitors. When I am talking about its uniqueness, it has its own structure non other than other Pagodas. If you go there you can be able to get that experience too. You can go to the highest peak of the Pagoda. There are some special steps which is given below help you to do that task.
After going the highest peak of Pagoda you can be able to see the panoramic view in 360 degrees. The mountain range called Adam's Peak, Piduruthalagala, Nakals, Namunukula, Hanthana, Bathalegala can be seen in such a nice way.
